Artist & Sculptor
Sangeeta’s journey that has endeavoured to unravel the many wondrous and mystical facets of the life and times Lord Buddha is incomparable. Her paintings are therefore unique and the subject, universal and timeless. Her impressive works of art have earned praise from renowned individuals including His Holiness the Dalai Lama, noted lyricist Gulzarsaab, and well-known art researcher and painter Dr. Pushpa Dravid.
Born and brought up in Kumta (Coastal Karnataka), Ganapati’s love for fine arts was influenced and instilled in him very early on by his maternal grandfather, himself an artist. He has won many awards, including the 52nd National Award from Lalit Kala Academy and the Camlin National Award from Camlin Art Foundation. He has a Diploma in Art from the Ken School of Art, a Bachelor of Art from Karnataka University and Master in Fine Arts (External) from Bengaluru Open University. He lives and works in Bangalore.
Mohammed Osman is popular for his bull series but the gifted artist whose trademark is his breathtaking use of colours is also eminently capable of producing portraits.
Bharti Prajapati’s paintings are about the elements and their connect with us. The five elements are present in our body, the earth below and the cosmos above. We have numerous tales, patterns, forms and traditions representing these five elements.
